UrsuIa Matschy has been working as a master tailor for around 25 years - and with Lounge Cherie she has fulfilled her dream of having her own sustainable fashion label. She is the creative mind when it comes to ideas, cuts and fabric selection for the collections. Lounge Cherie is a matter close to her heart and excludes no one: "My design is puristically feminine - and definitely ageless! It is important to me that everyone who wears Lounge Cherie on their skin feels something special."

Daughter Nina Kramberger is a successful photographer in the fashion and beauty sector and knows who is the best in the fashion world. This is precisely why she firmly believes in her mother's idea: "I support the idea of well-being and sustainability at a high level. ECOLOGICAL CLOTHING

Life is a constant cycle in which everything is in motion, rearranging itself. We, mother Ursula and daughter Nina, are also constantly working on ourselves and our products. In order to continue to develop, we keep asking ourselves: what is still missing to make it a good whole? It is important to us that we leave as small an ecological footprint as possible; most of our fabrics are produced in Austria, even the Tencel modal fiber is manufactured in Austria.

Even when it comes to accessories that you don’t see, it is very important to us that we can use regional products from Austria. This is the case with the rubber pull-in, for example. Our production in the north of Croatia is only about 2.5 hours by car from our studio. Here we can be on site immediately if there is an emergency. In fact, however, it has not yet been necessary! On the contrary, We are impressed by the consistent quality of workmanship of our models. The employees at the production facility have an ergonomically humane workplace and are fairly paid.
