Every single piece of clothing from Lounge Cherie is created in many small steps. It is a long way from the design to the ready-to-sell model of our sustainable fashion: Many decisions have to be made
- for example, when selecting (raw) materials, when cutting, when it comes to ideas and possibilities in production, how can we work as sustainably as possible, what is particularly important to you, our customers, when it comes to fair clothing and, above all, what do you think of our fair fashion?
We always keep this and much more in mind and try our best every day to consciously address it. Thanks to your feedback, we are constantly developing and never stop growing through valuable experiences!
Our designs are created in Styria, Austria, and the fabrics are also manufactured in Austria by Lenzing in an ecologically responsible integrated pulp-to-fiber process.
The fabric production process is energy self-sufficient and mainly uses thinning wood resulting from sustainable forest management.
The collections that are made for you are produced as close as possible to our company headquarters (approx. 200 km away). We are in close contact with our production and know the people responsible for the production of the models personally through our regular visits. It is important to us to keep our production in Croatia as
to visit as often as possible to ensure fair and pleasant working conditions and to personally check the quality before we forward the models to you.

Conserving resources with sustainable fashion
It is our aim to use resources carefully. That is why we attach great importance to natural and even compostable materials in our fair fashion. This extends from production to the finished garment to the plastic-free packaging and shipping of our fair clothing to your home. This means you can try on your new Lounge Cherie outfit at your leisure, experience the indescribably soft feeling on your skin and combine the pieces with each other.
We primarily use TENCEL™ Modal.
The name TENCEL™ stands for the premium textile brand of the Lenzing company. Lenzing combines all standard fiber types from nature under this brand. Only TENCEL™ Modal from Lenzing meets the quality guidelines and the sustainable standards for our fair and sustainable fashion, because: Modal is not the same as Modal. Modal is harmless to human toxicology and is manufactured in an ecologically optimized process exclusively from wood that comes from proven sustainable forestry. The production of TENCEL™ Modal meets the highest environmental standards and is CO2-neutral. Both the pulp extraction and the production of TENCEL™ Modal fibers take place regionally in Austria in an environmentally friendly, "symbiotic" production process. The few chemical processes required take place in a closed cycle with an optimal recovery rate: more than half of the wood substance used is converted into the high-quality fiber.
